I've known this for years. It was reiterated over-and-over in computer science classes. Basically something to the effect of defining the problem before the solution. I neglected to do this on one piece of my current assignment at work. This lead to the last 2 days (and part of tomorrow probably) of me finalizing the current _final_ solution before this goes into production this weekend. So this entry will be a note to remind myself to DEFINE THE PROBLEM SET first. Also I hate printing.. especially when oracle is involved.
