So the buffalo WHR-G54S has been up for a while now. I had some final hacking and configuring as the guest were trying to get on once they arrived. (actually I had to reflash the thing and go from scratch - nvram settings were all good though so that saved some time) Currently its been up for 10 days. I am on the lan side so I don't have much to say about the wifi side although zack did pull down a few ST NextGen episodes which took some time.
Current:
lan and wifi split, separate vlans
wan up (and stable) mtu=1498
qos installed modified such that lan takes presidence
Left to do:
sflow to another machine
harden iptables a bit more
dyndsn or similar
Next on my list is a soho nas :-) buffalo is looking quite good
