Booted the ultra2 and got console this past weekend. Seems you have to have the correct cable combo to get the actual console to display. I finally dug up an old list posting about how to create a quick null modem setup:
- patch cable
- cisco console kit
- use the modem 25 pin on sun / *nix box
- use 9 pin on your pc/laptop
Ok since we have post here is list of what is there
-256 mb ram
-2*200mhz ultra sparc
-1 dead 9g drive
Working on sorting out a few piles of memory I have around here to find what will increase the memory best. Also looking for my other disk spud thing to put 2 new 9g drives in.. Will work on that later in the week.
