The holidays for 2007 have come and gone here at the Foote house. We had great fun entertaining a house full of people once again. Yes, it is trying at times but well worth the effort. It is very neat to see our little ones interact when other little ones are in the mix. And just how these relationships will progress etc.
There are things to do different if a gathering like this takes place here again. Like, Kevin taking the full time off that people are here. Not relying on Zack for a full days worth of work (had to include that one). Making more of an effort to get out on some excursions involving the kids (the older kids tend to be sort of lazy when we get together) . Creating/finding a place where Katrina can get away from kids so she does not go insane.
Thanks to all that pitched in to help out around this chaotic event. And hopes for many more family gatherings in the future.
