Blink is the title of a book that is on my reading list (hopefully soon). It is also how fast someones evening can be thrown into emergency room chaos.
We have made trips to the emergency room center at our local hospital 3 times in the first 3 months of the year for 2008. Yikes! Hopefully the year starts to become a bit more non-hospital related (not that I mind the $50 EC charge or anything).
After his shower last night Matthew slipped and slid head first into a piece of furniture. This caused quite a gash on his head which resulted in 3 stitches ('staples' now days).
All of this of course happened during our evening (1700) of getting everyone showered and ready for bed etc. So instead we spent about 3 hours in the emergency room center at the hospital. Tons of fun with tiring hungry tots and little ones.
We all made it back a bit sleepy and with some additional stitches etc.. and got everyone changed and into bed fairly quickly after that.
