Great Day

Today I had the most fun I've had for a while. The boys and I -in different shifts- played outside in the snow building stuff.

On Friday we had quite a snow here I was very jazzed walking home in the fluffy powdery stuff. Watching all the people who can't drive in snow was amusing too. Anyway, so that was fun, and it has not all melted away yet so we made the best of this fact this afternoon.

Andrew and I were out side first. He is not quite as happy out side in the cold yet. So he was helping me as the director. "Put this here." "Pack that one." "Fix this one." This lasted till he got a bit cold and wanted to go inside. We had some fun until then.

Matthew came out next and we played for quite some time. We were building a block fort of sorts using our recycling bins for molds. Matthew had a blast thinking up ways to be 'stuck' in the mold while I was building.

This was a very fun day in the back yard reminding me of what it is like to have fun doing things outside and in the snow.
Winter camping, APU, snow caves, XC travel in the snow.

Looking forward to more days like this in the outdoors as the boys get older.
