OK! So its a bit late for the weekend recap but I had to jot this down regardless.
We spent an extended weekend visiting with my sister and brother-in-law in our nations capitol. This was a particularly fun trip because we made plans to bring bikes and bike the Mt.Vernon trail.
On Saturday we all met at the trail head about 10am I think. Putting all the gear together took about 30 minutes or so, then we were off.
This ride was fun .. we started out with no expectations. After a few (2) miles of easy riding we stopped for a snack break which the boys needed. Nathan, not very used to his helmet didn't particularly like getting back on the bikes to travel again.
